The studying system at the university is closely similar to the school system. Students attend classes take part in seminars and do laboratory works. Attendance is compulsory. Only for part-time students attendance is not compulsory. They come twice a year and pass exams. The class is presented as a period, which consists of two academic hours.

There are some forms of studying. The most effective is full-time studying. There is also a part-time and an evening forms of studying. Part-time studying is supposed a independent studying of a student.

A year is divided into two parts (semesters, or terms). At the end of every term students pass exams. There are two sessions – in winter and in summer.

In summer students have a practice in different enterprises, which is called summer practice. After final session students pass state exams and defense their diplomas. (As a rule, students write diplomas three years). After that students are given a qualification.
